Poem Podcast: All About Sound

Task Description: No mai haere mai ki te Point England Podcasting today’s briefcase is all about Podcasting and explaining sounds. There are speech marks on each slide with a picture on them, on the speech marks it would explain what noise that picture can make.

We would have an audio for us saying the description we have on the speech marks. As we explained it their would be some sound effects that the picture can make in real life. For an example I said ” This is the Buzzing of Bees ” then there is the sound effect of buzzing with music in the background. Please don’t forget to leave a positive comment on my blog. Kia Ora!

Oma’s Keys: Sunday Hero

WALT: make connections between other texts and general knowledge to expand meaning and pose questions.

Task description: For this task we had to work with a partner and both create two keys and then respond to each other about what they keys are showing from the text and how they made Oma remember. I worked with Levi and we both commented on each other’s keys after we had described them in blue. The story that we read this week was called Sunday hero and the Dad had lost the keys for the shed a bit like how Oma was loosing her memories. Oma and her granddaughter went through a box of keys to try and find a key to the shed and while they were going through some of the keys in the box she remembered things from her past that she was sharing with her granddaughter. These keys show two of the memories I thought were important was Oma and Opa with the horses and Oma’s heritage and where she came from.
